It was 20 years ago: the French team won the World Cup 3-0 against Brazil, galvanizing the entire French people. To relive this moment of intense emotion (and boost your ego!), head to Les Magasins Généraux in Pantin, where the current football exhibition "Par Amour du Jeu 1998 - 2018" awaits. On the program: artworks, installations, and performances by international artists on the theme of football.
A free, original football exhibition
It's on the banks of the Canal de Ourcq, at the Magasins Généraux in Pantin, that the exhibition Par Amour du Jeu: 1998 - 2018 will immerse football fans in the world of football. Both artistic and cultural, the exhibition will allow you to relive some of the highlights of football from the last 20 years in the form of paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, videos, installations, and performances exploring the world of football in an offbeat, poetic, and sometimes humorous way. 38 international artists have pooled their talents to bring the 1000m² exhibition to life.
... within a major festival!
Once you've visited the exhibition, the adventure continues! The For Love of the Game exhibition is part of a larger festival currently taking place on the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq. Numerous performances and video projections, street art workshops, street football and table football tournaments, not to mention team sports classes, will keep participants busy until August 5th.
