Mini foosball, another record for Yves Géraud
It measures no more than 9 cm long and 5 cm wide, the smallest table football in the world! This pocket-sized kicker is an unusual creation by the artist Yves Géraud, a true virtuoso of miniaturization who loves to gain a height on his small universe.
This very small-scale modeling professional cut his teeth on matchboxes transformed into mini contemporary art museums and on replicas of works of art a few millimeters wide (30,000 times smaller than the original works...).
Yves Géraud has a taste for a challenge. A few years later, he repeated the experience with a replica of Van Gogh's famous "self-portrait with severed ear," 65,500 times smaller than the original painting. This is yet another record for the artist!
The smallest table football weighs less than 125 grams
Despite its 45 cm² and 125 grams, Yves Géraud's mini table football can be played by four people. The player poles were replaced by bicycle spokes on which tiny 1 cm high red and blue sculptures were mounted. Of course, a ball had to be designed to fit the extraordinary dimensions of this miniature table football. This wasn't a problem for Yves Géraud! The custom-made ball has a diameter of 3mm and rolls perfectly on the playing surface.
Playing the world's smallest table football requires a lot of concentration and skill. No tackling or performing a roulette! This kicker requires a lot of delicacy from the users. It's a (playable) work of art that would be right at home in a museum dedicated to the world of mini football. A centerpiece that would centralize all eyes... A bit like this Roberto Sport Table Football, which is reminiscent of Yves Géraud's sculpture:
