A table football tournament in Crécy La Chapelle raised €5,648. No, it's not a joke! The volunteers who organized the event can be proud of having achieved the feat of bringing together so many people for a good cause...
A tournament that brought together all generations
"It's a nice sum, but obviously it's never enough," said Victore Seita, president of the association in charge of the event. But 5,648 euros is still an achievement, especially since a foosball telethon was a first. But the idea, as unusual as it was, clearly appealed to the crowds of participants. They had to pay a €5 fee before being able to play with the ball. The Crécy en Choeur volunteers raised a considerable sum, which was donated to the AFM. And as with any self-respecting tournament, there was a winner who didn't leave empty-handed, far from it...
A tempting reward...
The tournament's grand winner, a resident of Voulangis, went home with a magnificent table football Bonziniworth 1,500 euros. To immortalize the event and the amount raised, a particularly impressive wooden check was made to be presented to the AFM.
