2018 French Club Championships: A reminder and new features
For this 18th edition of the French Men's Club Championships, some changes will be expected. This new edition will mark the end of multi-table competition and the return to a 100% baby foot Bonzini competition. The reason given: the low number of clubs with foreign tables and the imbalances this creates during matches.
The team format has also been redesigned as follows:
- - 8 players and 1 substitute (optional)
- - 2 Singles and 3 Doubles: Singles 1 - Doubles 1 - Singles 2 - Doubles 2 - Doubles 3
- - Possibility to change players for each match
And regarding the new game formats:

- "Championship in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2" format.
- 12 teams in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, 11 matches over the weekend for each team
- - Format to be determined in the National League based on the number of teams entered
Each table football club will only be able to register one team for this tournament. Furthermore, players on each team must be registered with the same club. In the National League, an exemption request can be submitted to the Sports Commission for the inclusion of players from outside the club.
The deadline to confirm participation is March 19. Player lists can then be registered via FAST access until April 9th.
