Come and put your table football skills to good use! In Dieppe, a friendly table football tournament will be held on the Quai Henry IV this Saturday, September 2nd. The goal of this competition is to raise funds for Robin, a young boy with Down syndrome. This week, table football is for a good cause!
A table football tournament for a good cause
This charity event was initiated by the Table football Rouen Métropole club. The fundraiser will be organized by the Un Pti Rien association and will be used to finance young Robin's therapy. Sébastien Lebourg, tournament organizer, explains:
He is a young boy with Down syndrome. His grandparents live in Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont and Berneval-le-Grand.
A real competition with prizes
To properly motivate competitors, several prizes offered by sponsors will be up for grabs. There will be qualifying and elimination rounds. On the Quai Henry IV in Dieppe, six foosball tables will be set up under a marquee. Registration: €5
Come face the French champion!
Great news for the players present: they will be able to compete against the French champion himself! The organizer jokes:
The French table football champion will be the man to beat
€2 is not a lot to pay to compete against one of the greatest players on the planet!
Meet us on Saturday, September 2nd on Quai Henry IV in Dieppe from 3 PM to 9 PM. Come many!
