One tournament, 4 playing styles, 23 teams...
The European Champions League is undoubtedly the most anticipated event for all the best table football players on the European circuit. For this 3rd edition, the city of Lignano Sabbadoro in Italy will have the honor and privilege of hosting the 16 participating men's teams and 7 women's teams from 10 different countries. The level will be higher than ever, and players will have to be adaptable to "juggle" the different playing styles of the Bonzini table football, Garlando, Roberto Sport, and Leonhart tables requisitioned for the event. But it will take more than that to discourage our French players!
A French team ready to fight!
On the French side, we're confident! Sponsored by Mister Babyfoot, the Rhône Sportif Table Football (RSFT) team will fly the flag for France. The team, which has just finished on the podium in Division 1 of the French Team Championships for two consecutive years, boasts a lineup that will have what it takes to stand up to its opponents:
Nicolas Constantin: Coach and captain, Nicolas is the pillar of the team. This former member of the French top ten notably boasts a 2007 French mixed doubles runner-up title. - Sébastien Friedrichs: world champion with the French team, current French number 6, winner of the CNFT1 in Gauchy 2013, this is a complete and seasoned player who is used to foreign tables in competition. This is the team's main asset.
- Maxime Blin: A former member of the French top 10, his main asset is his ability to play on all tables. Several times World and French Junior Vice-Champion, World Championmulti-table champion with the French team in 2013, two-time French Mixed Doubles Champion. He is the team's technician.
- Vincent Seslikol: A member of the French team on Bonzini, he's already a familiar face at the World and French Team Championships. He is considered one of the best guards in France and recently proved it by finishing runner-up at the 2014 World Championship in open doubles.
- Kevin Grange: Two-time French Serie A champion and several times semi-finalist in a major competition, he is a purebred forward whose effectiveness is no longer in doubt!!!.
- Noureddine Houcine: President and driving force behind Rhône Sportif Football Table, former member of the Algerian national team, he is an exceptional full-back with several semi-final appearances.
- Julien Cadet: a fullback by trade, his pass is considered one of the most dangerous inFrance. Having reached the podium twice in the CDF Division 1 team league with Villeurbanne, that's a major asset.
-Daniel Kelovic: he's THE club's promising young prospect. Trained in Villeurbanne, he possesses an extraordinary touch and has just won his first regional tournament.
It should be noted that six of the RSFT team's players have been selected for the French team for the Roberto Sport World Championships, which will take place from October 17th to 19th, also in Ligano Sabbiadoro.

The road to victory will be strewn with obstacles! Many "Garlando" teams will give the French a hard time on one of the most difficult tables to play. Also noteworthy is the participation of some "giants" from the Evry club (the second French team competing in the competition), including the best player of all time, Frédéric Collignon.
