The players are cast aluminum, as is traditional in French table football. They are hand-painted and attach with a throat grip.
The playing surface is made of speckled Gerflex for precise ball control. The corners are raised in the corners and the white lines are drawn.
The goals are made of perforated chrome steel to give the impression of real football goal nets. There are scorers on both sides in the colors of the players on the field. The inside of the goals is also made of metal to hear the sound that goes with a well-aimed shot.
The central ball inlet is equipped with a chrome-plated aluminum balcony to recreate the feel of a bar table football and retrieve the ball in the middle of the long panel.

Catenaccio Superiore Table Football – The ultra-resistant model for intensive use
The Catenaccio Superiore table football is the reinforced version of the famous Sportivo model, a best-seller from the French brand for over 8 years. Designed for intensive use in businesses, communities, or at events, the Superiore was designed to withstand regular player traffic, without compromising on playing comfort or durability.
Catenaccio benefited from the experience gained at the Lyon 2024 Fair, where over 1,000 people tested the Sportivo in one week. Although the model has held up well, some areas for improvement have been identified to create this even more robust version, designed for professionals looking for a durable, stable, and smooth-running foosball table, capable of withstanding hours of play without weakening.
Reinforced materials for maximum durability
The Catenaccio Superiore retains its high-density MDF structure, but with a triple-thickness melamine coating, now anti-scratch and even more resistant to repeated rubbing. This change prevents any visual alterations associated with intensive use, particularly in busy environments.
The playing field has also been reinforced. Gone is the simple plywood support: a through metal frame with steel reinforcement rods now guarantees perfect stability, even under repeated pressure. The legs, also redesigned, are still made of MDF but feature an industrial melamine coating and stainless steel screws for greater strength and a more premium finish. All of this gives the table football exceptional stability and increased weight. The chrome-plated steel telescopic rods are retained for their reliability, but they now slide on nylon bushings, just like on Bonzini's professional models. This material provides an ultra-smooth glide and significantly improves playing comfort. All screws are now made of stainless steel, guaranteeing excellent corrosion resistance, particularly for installation in semi-open or public environments.
Redesigned aesthetics and premium finishes
Beyond performance, the Superior boasts a modernized design. The new matte melamine coating adds a sleek and elegant touch. The redesigned Catenaccio logo is highlighted above the new central aluminum finish, which serves as a ball collection area. The openwork goalposts, inspired by goal nets, add a sporty and original touch, while a steel strip behind the goalposts reinforces the short backboard and creates a strong aesthetic connection with the rest of the furniture.
Professional playing comfort and meticulous details
The table football's generous dimensions (162 cm long, 95 cm high, 115 cm wide with bars) make it perfect for communal spaces. The Gerflex pitch remains true to traditional table football standards, with a centerline to improve visual recognition and a curvature in the corners to prevent dead balls. The cast aluminum players, hand-painted in red and blue, are securely attached to the poles with a through-bolt and feature the brand's iconic "C" on their torsos. They can be easily repositioned if necessary. The springs and shock absorbers ensure a smooth return of the poles after each action.
The feet are equipped with adjustable jacks, allowing the height to be adjusted in case of uneven ground. Ergonomically, the long hard rubber handles provide excellent grip and precise ball control. round handles are also available as an option. The side scorekeepers, matching the team colors, are placed on each side of the court, near the goals.
